Clearly you need to take a walk in the actual woods! Totally free and trees never bother with anything as potentially awkward as conversation…

So true. Would if I could! Unfortunately I live in a city, so it'd be a trip. But it'd be worth it, I'm sure!

Oh sorry! Maybe a walk in the park then… But the potential for meeting people is higher! 😆

I love this comic! I also struggle with anxiety and the negative side affects of isolation and this captures it perfectly.

That’s the only line of “Thunder Road” that screams for an edit. It should be “We ain’t beauties but hey we’re alright”. I mean Bruce may be fun but he ain’t much to look at and it certainly doesn’t give him license to judge.

I sincerely disagree! But that's personal preference I suppose ;)

Well regardless, my lived experience would advise that if you don’t want her to turn you home again stick with the vision dancing across the porch language and stay away from “you ain’t a beauty” or the next time the screen door slams; you’ll be on the outside.

And thus she stayed there forever. Feeding off the mushrooms despite not knowing what they were, she ate a magic one. She then turned into a mushroom herself on top of her rock bed. As time passed by she grew into the environment. Growing her fungus fibers into the rock, Becoming another hallucinogenic edible.

But it was a dream because she lives in the city and the nearest park is filled with hobos and that's pretty scary. Now she ponders what it would be like to live in the forest but doesn't go because of the fear of being eaten by a lion. Which then turns over to look at her black cats and wonders, would they eat me if I smaller like a mushroom? 🍄

Yes they would Carol. Yeah they would.
